Hilton is always finding new and better ways to take care of its customers, from on the go healthy breakfasts to their brand new guest rooms exclusively for fitness fans. The new rooms are called Five Feet to Fitness and are exactly what their name suggests – exercise equipment and health-conscious choices right in your room. No more dragging yourself downstairs at 6 AM to work out in front of strangers. Now all you need to do is roll out of bed and choose what works for you. Here’s what the rooms encompass.
In your room, you’ll find multiple pieces of equipment to keep you in shape. From an exercise bike for interval training to a meditation chair for relaxation, you’re covered no matter what your health routine entails. You’ll also find a Gym Rax training station for core workouts and High-Intensity Interval Training, a hands-on fitness kiosk with a touchscreen display that can give you guided workouts or tutorials, Biofreeze to relieve sore muscles and a drink and snack station with high-protein and hydration options. Travelers suffering from jet lag will also be happy to find blackout shades to help them get a good night’s sleep.
Five Feet to Fitness rooms can currently be found at Hilton McLean Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia and Parc 55 in San Francisco, California. If they’re not on your list of travel destinations, don’t despair. Hilton says these amenities will be coming soon to hotels in New York, San Diego, Chicago, Las Vegas, Austin and Atlanta. The rooms are easy to find online and cost the same as a standard guest room. Not even price will stand in the way of you and your workout.
If you’re someone who needs the convenience of having exercise equipment close by to get motivated, or maybe you just don’t like working out in front of others, these rooms are a great idea. Watch for them as Hilton expands them across the US and you’ll have no more excuses not to work out when traveling.
